I have a 13 year old dog that LOVES to eat. Unfortunately being a senior and rocking 2 knee surgeries; she doesn't burn off the calories the way she used to. The mat is very sturdy and well made, the "blades of grass" very thick and soft. Thank you!
We've got a 70lb goldendoodle who has "solved" every slow feeder bowl to date. I tried this one in hopes that it would actually make him slow down w/his dry food (so I didn't have to spend $$$$ on only fresh food). Thank goodness, it's perfect! No more throwing up because he's bringing in too much air from swallowing w/o chewing! It works great. There was maybe a 2-day learning curve, but now it works great! He gets dry food in the morning and fresh food at night. Such a relief.
